FAMOUS JAPANESE STRANGE FOOD=NATTO

What is the most strange food in your country? I'm a Japanese student so I will think which food is most strange in my country! I think natto is one of the most strange food in Japan. Do you know natto? It looks like beans but it is rotten beans. But of course you can eat it! I think some Japanese people like it but other don't like it. Some Japanese who don't like it think natto's smell is so bad, it tastes bad. The best reason why they don't lke it is the gooey strings of natto! In Japan, we usually eat natto in the morning. Do you know how Japanese eat it? They usually eat it just put on white rice. It is general. In addition to this, we eat miso soup with natto or a sushi roll containing natto and covered with nori. I love a sushi roll containing natto and covered with nori.

Popular Sports!!!!!!

In Japan, there are many famous spots. For example, baseball, soccer, tennis and so on. I think baseball is the most popular sport. But I love to play and watch soccer. I will introduce about soccer!!!!Do you know how many members you need if you want to play soccer game?You need 11 members!!And you can't use hand. Only kick!!!! But if your position is goalkeepers, you can use hand!!Do you know goalkeepers??I think goalkeepers always injure their body and become dirty.Why?Because they have to protect their goal!!!!But I think goalkeepers are cool because my position is goalkeeper hahaha!!!!!
Do you know WORLD CUP?? It is the biggest soccer tournament!!!It is one of the international tournament. It is held once in four years.In 2002, WORLD CUP was held in Japan and Korea. It was joint hosting.I remember that I usually watched their games in my junior high school's audiovisual classroom.

If you only had a month to live, what would you do?

I'm sorry. I have a reason why I couldn't write a new journal!!!!!! I couldn't write a new journal because my PC didn't good work from Friday night to yesterday. Finally, my PC worked because of my friends!!!
"If you only had a month to live, what would you do???" This question is easy for me!!! At first, I will go back to Japan because I"m from Japan and I will tell my family and my friends why I go back to Japan. Next, evryday I will stay with my family, play soccer with my friends, go to beach, go and climb mountain, eat out dinner, go to karaoke, go shopping, go to stay at my friend's houses, and so on. There are many things what I want to do so I can't write every thing!!!

Writing Letter!!!!!!!

One or two weeks ago, I wrote about 15 letters for my high school friends and sent them. My letters were received by my friends after three or four days I wrote and sent them. Then many friends gave me E-mails. I was very happy to tell how was my school and homestay life and to hear how was thier university life. I think writing letters is god way to tell something. I heard that a half century ago, almost of all Japnese people usually sent letters when they want to tell a declaration of love. But now we usually use cellphones or tell drectlly. We do not send letters. OH!!!! I remember that I think all Japnanese have sent letters because of NENGAJOU (I don't know this word is right or not) NENGAJOU　is NEW YEAR CARDS!!! In USA, many people usually send BIRTH DAY CARDS or CHRISTMAS CARDS. NENGAJOU is like them. But we send this every January 1st.

At Corona del Mar Beach!!!!!!!

Yesterday(on July 13th), I went to beach party at Corona del Mar Beach with about from 40 to 50 ALP teachers and students.
After we arrived there, at first,I played beach voleyball with teachers and students. It was very difficult for me to jump and attack because of sand. But it was fun and good training for me!!!!!Next I went to swim. The temperature of the water was very cold. So I couldn't soak long time. Jay was a crazy boy because he tried to push his friends(almost girls) down from behind. Some girls couldn't swim very well. And he understood that. But he did it. After I finished swimming, I played beach voleyball again. I became muddy because I went to swim till then. When I played it, I had cramps in my foot. After we finished it, we ate hotdogs, snacks and fruits. They tasted good. After I finished eating, I played beach soccer. It was one of my reason why I went to that party that I played soccer with teachers and students. I was very happy to play beach soccer. And it was really fun!!!!
That beach party was good for me to make friends and enjoy holiday. We came ALP at 9:15. After I arrived home, I went to bed immediately.
It was sad that there were only 4 or 5 classmate. I wanted to come that party more and more classmates.

The best ways to meet my significant other

I'm writing this essay in our school's library because my PC doesn't good work. And I'm very bussy now because I will go to beach party after one hour. I'm not sure whether I can finish my jurnal, or not.
I don't know which way is the bast way for me because it will be decided by GOD. But I have a dream that if my hope will be accepted, I want to meet my significant other in my company. (But I'm not sure which company I will go and work because it is future.) Because I will be able to meet her evryday everytime. And, of cause, we have same hobbies because we work at same company. (I want to be a spots doctor. My major is sports science.) In addition, almost of all Japanese nurse are really cute hahahaha. It's joke.

I think we have many ways to prevent water pollution!!

I think we have a lot of ways to prevent water pollution. But I can't find them haha.
1. You don't too much soap!! For example, shampoo, body shampoo, cleaning material, and so on. Now you can find soap which is good for your body and water. I recommend you to buy and use it.
2.You don't throw out garbage in the sea, river or lake. You have to throw out them in the trash can.
3.You don't pee or move your bowels in the sea, river or lake. If you want to do them, you have to bear!!
I could find just three ways. I think other classmates has other ways to prevent water pollution. I want to know and learn about water pollution because I thnk this is one of the most important problem.
In Japan, we don't hav any rules for water pollution. But I think other country have rules. If your country has them, I want to know them.
If you can explain for me, I'll be very happy. Please write comments for me and explain your country's rules of water pollution.

I'm a successful man!!!!!

My weight was about 154 pounds when I was a junior high school student. Then, I played soccer almost every day. But I didn't make efforts when I practiced soccer because I was a goalkeeper and I didn't any powerful rival. So I usually played it half in fun. I couldn't notice that I got fat, then.
I got two powerful rivals since I was a high school student and I was a member of my school's soccer team. Then, I could understand to get fat. I was very shocked. So I was persistent to pay soccer more and more. Finally, my weight was about 132 pounds after a half of year. I remember that I was very happy to become a starting goalkeeper. Then I could find that it is important for me to practice hard whatever I am interested in. And I think it is the most important that continue to do anything. This is not easy, I think. But if you can succeed, you gain confidence.

This journal is very difficult for me because .....

This journal is very difficult for me because almost of all Japanese doesn't use body language and gestures. I don't usally use them, either. So I don't have any experiences. Sorry. But I have several misunderstanding when I speak English. This experience is easy for you to understand what I want to say. I'm doing a homestay now. I usually talk with my hostfamily's mother when we eat dinner. One time of dinner, she asked me "You can't eat banana, right." That is true. I can't eat banana. Then I have to say "No." But in Japan we usually say "Yes" because of different culture and rule of conversation. So I sometimes say "Yes." And she usually say "Oh, you can eat banana. Ok. I'll buy banana for you." After I heard it, I said "I'm sorry, I can't eat banana. I don't like that taste and smell. So I don't buy it for me. Did you understand what I want to say? I don't really like banana. But I should eat banana because it has many kinds of vitamin, proutain and so on. While I stay in USA, I try to eat banana again and again, and I want to be able to eat banana. When I go back to Japan, I will show my friends and family it that I can eat banana and I want to superise them. In addition, I want to show them how I can speak English, too.

DIFFICULT

It is too difficult for me to use my left hand. I could not do anything. For example, I couldn't use fork and knife when I ate dinner. I can't use my left hand as well as right hand when I wanted to write something. And I'm typing these words with my left hand.
When I was a high school student, I tried to use chopsticks. Because my soccer coach said "You should try to use your left hand." I said "Why?" He said " There are two reasons why you should try to use your left hand. First of all, if youwill be able to use your left hand, you will be very happy. In addition, you can find that it is important for you to keep trying something." Since then, I tried to use my left hand. After three month, finally, I could use chpsticks with my left hand. It is one of my good memory.
In Japan, we usually say that left-handed persons have their powers of memory.
I want to know that how was left-handed persons felt around the world.

What did you like/not like the most about Blood Diamond the movie? Why/why not?

I liked the scene of family's meeting again the most. When I watched that scene, I thout that it is important for me to live together happily. Recently, I sometime think that I could not live together happily after I came here, USA because I quarreled with my family memmber almost every day. But I can feel that my parents are greatness, now. I thought this movie has a lot of scenes of violence. I do not like movies of violence because they are really grotesque. Do you think so, too? I could not see that scene in which someone's arm was cut. I have no idea of what the pain like because it is a bruise or a cramp in my foot that it was the biggest pain in my life.

Blood Diamond

I watched BLOOD DIAMOND last Thursday.
I thought it was good. But I didn't know a little bit what that movie want to tell.
I want to watch other movies. Such as commedy, love story, fiction, non fiction and so on.
